GABRIEL BARACAT
Founding partner
Holding a Bachelor of Laws (J.D.) degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV-SP), he works focusing on corporate law, M&A, venture capital, estate and equity planning, and business contracts.
He built his career in leading law firms and legal departments of multinational companies, where he coordinated complex corporate projects involving multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on corporate reorganizations and strategic transactions.
He has participated in significant M&A transactions, particularly in the technology, media and entertainment, real estate, and cosmetics sectors. His practice also encompasses dispute resolution, intellectual property, and impact and creative businesses.
He contributed with publications in international journals of arbitration institutions, was the executive director of the largest and oldest legal aid association for vulnerable populations in São Paulo, and acts as a mentor for young professionals through non-profit organizations.
